Zyra - League of Legends

So, if you couldn't tell from the title, this post is about the game League of Legends....

A game I have spent entirely too many hours playing when I could be doing anything else! D:

It is just too addicting.... ugggh.  So far, this is my favourite champion -

 I would have drawn her as super sexy pin-up, but that's already what she is, so chibi time, yeah!

Life of the Dramatic

I actually painted this about two weeks ago, and it seems a suiting time to post it online and share since the drama don't stop!

I sold a woman a print of this and she later asked me the story behind it, but first I asked her interpretation of it. It was so different from the place I painted it from I found it quite interesting and remarkable what she got from it. I suppose that's the great thing about art. You put it out there, let it go and you never know how people will interpret it. She loved it and thought the woman was extremely strong and proud in the image, burning brightly against the dark.  Maybe you'll feel that way too! Maybe you see something different! Regardless, enjoy!

Doing this in Flash was a fun and interesting experiment as I've never used the program for a project quite like this. Vector is always interesting to me because I love a painterly style so much, my first instinct is to straight out paint a drawing, but I like how these turned out so I may do more images like this.
